Shea's Buffalo Theatre primarily hosts touring Broadway musicals and special events in Buffalo, New York. It was originally built in 1926 and opened as a silent movie house. The venue was designed by the renowned architects Rapp and Rapp of Chicago, and was created in imitation of the French and Spanish Baroque and Rococo styles. It was intended to look like the 17th and 18th century European opera houses and palaces. The venue has its original theater organ, making it one of the few organs in the US to still be owned and used by its first theater.
