Why see Pixies?

Summer 2025 Tour!

The Pixies are back and more energized than ever, ready to bring the heat in summer 2025! Widely regarded as one of the most influential American bands of the past three decades, their music is a gloriously chaotic assault on the senses. Black's raw, often irreverent lyrics, paired with Joey Santiago's surf rock guitar riffs and Kim Deal's iconic bass lines, helped pave the way for the grunge movement. Their crowning glory, 1989's Doolittle, gifted us classics like 'Here Comes Your Man', 'Debaser', and 'Gouge Away'. Don't miss your chance to have a legendary summer!

The band's relationships are known for being infamously tempestuous, leading to a permanent split in 1993. While Kim Deal has chosen to continue pursuing her career with The Breeders, the other three members are now firmly back together and making music, with bassist Paz Lenchantin joining them for their tours.

AMAZING SHOW!

The band was tight and fresh! The Pixies make some of the best music ever and they are only getting better with time. You can tell they were having a blast even as they worked out a couple minor kinks- after all this was only their second date of the North American tour. Kim's replacement Paz is a natural fit and did a superb job. The Venue is great- just a few thousand of us in a steep configuration means they are all great seats. Easy parking and getting in and out. The beer line was ridiculously long- surely that can be avoided by providing enough staff. Overall a very memorable show!! ... Read more

Packed with plenty

From open to close this was a polished set that dipped into the full catalogue and was performed with gusto and polish. With stage lighting that let the band observe the audience and vice versa as tone dictated, the contrast between serenity and mania was played off excellently. As many old favourites as you could wish and a peppering of intriguing new sounds to whet the appetite. A great balance in an intimate open air atmosphere. Highlights for me were opening with Cactus, a slow tempo Nimrod's Son and a rendition of Gouge away under green lighting that redefined it for me. Quality and class. ... Read more

Amazing Show!

The entire set was pure energy! 38 songs and you never wanted it to end! The current lineup is a tight well oiled machine! Black Francis, Joey, and David have always been great, but with the addition of Paz they are on fire! She did an amazing job! A great mix of old and just enough new songs to put on a perfect show! Go see them if you want to see one of the all time great bands still perform at a high level! ... Read more
