Macklemore was freaking amazing!

Everyone on this thread is correct. Macklemore was so good and Kesha stright up sucked. After Macklemores show I told my gf there was no way Kesha could follow that. I was right. Idk Kesha killed the mood with her opening song FU cussing and her tinny bop high speed voice. If I read these reviews before the show I would have known to leave right after Macklemore. ... More Macklemore! - Kesha, you're right. This place did blow.

Never heard of or saw Macklemore before but he has converted this heathen to a believer! All the energy, theatrics, crowd interaction, great anecdotes, and knew how to relate to the home turf (by his own admission he played Schuba's six years ago?!) Kesha was a disappointment from the moment she took the stage with a can of Pabst. Nothing sounded like her albums (why am I here?), swore at every other word (yawn), spitting that piss beer on her fans (?), spending way to much time talking about the clothes she's been accumulating (??) and somehow managed to make "Jolene" boring? Kesha's set rocked me hardest when the house lights came up and "9 to 5" came on. There is an Internets worth of GIFs to describe how shitty Kesha was. Go find one you like. ... Read more

5 stats for Macklemore. 2 for kesha

Seems every city had the same experience. Macklemore was INCREDIBLE! So much energy, audience interaction, his talking between songs was hilarious, there were songs I had never heard before and found myself immediately loving... No complaints! Kesha was different than expected. I'll admit I do not know much of her new stuff but a friend who does said that didn't really sound the same either but all her old stuff was played differently and hard to dance around to which was what I really looking forward to- a lot of people starting leaving during her set and the energy from the crowd just wasn't there, which is a shame because she closed with Praying and TIk Tok which were both very well done and redeeming. ...
