The Wizard of Oz

Why see The Wizard of Oz?

We're Off To See The Wizard!

Click together those ruby slippers because it's time to journey back to Oz! Journey down the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy as she learns about love, bravery and the true meaning of home, and meets some very special friends along the way.

This enchanting tale is one of the most beloved musicals of all time, of course made famous by the 1939 Judy Garland movie. This new production boasts all the classic songs from the movie, such as Over the Rainbow and We're Off To See The Wizard, alongside specially written new numbers from the legendary duo of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

This stage musical is an unshakeable piece of American pop culture, and never fails to life the spirits every time!

WHAT IS The Wizard Of Oz ABOUT?

After being swept up in a tornado, farmgirl Dorothy and her beloved dog Toto find themselves in the land of Oz, a place full of all kinds of fantastical creatures, from witches to munchkins. There is one man who may be able to help her return home to Kansas - The fabled Wizard of Oz, who lives in Emerald City.

So Dorothy sets off along the Yellow Brick Road in her quest, and befriends the Scarecrow, Tin Man and The Cowardly Lion along the way. This ragtag band of misfits must band together to both reach their destination and thwart the evil plans of the Wicked Witch of the West.

Total surprise

This show did nothing but wow me from beginning to end. The costumes, performances and especially when actors were coming down from the ceiling was truly magical for myself and guests. Excellent play. Definitely will see this again if it comes back. ... Read more
