I saw the nutcracker performed by Neglia Ballet some years ago. I couldn’t have been more impressed. As a trained dancer myself I recognized the excellent technique and artistry! To my former high school friend Heidi, congratulations on all your success. Thank you for bringing Ballet to Buffalo. I’ll be there this year for sure!

I was very disappointed in the production. Loved the music, but did not seem keep to the story line. If I was seeing it for the first time, I would not have believe that it was a dream. I felt it was more like a recital. After each dance sequence they came forward for a bow, and felt that they were posing after certain dance routines. This did not feel professional at all. I saw the production at Shea's 10 years ago with my six granddaughters and their moms. It was very well done, and it flowed from one piece of music to the next, like a dream. I seem to remember that it was mostly done in the living room of the home, while Clara slept.
